I saw this Doctor at an out patients clinic first the first time at the George Eliot,and was immediately impressed with his kind manner and good nature.He told me what options I had and what really would be best for me.It was a great relief when he said he would be able to perform surgery on me.A fantastic gentleman in my book.

Mr Beltechi performed a foramen magnum decompression on my husband for chiari malformation. He's fantastic at what he does and is a genuinely lovely man. We felt he was always there every step of the way and is very sincere. Questions were always answered and nothing was too much trouble for himself and his team.

My father was rushed to UHCW after collapsing last June with a large brain aneurysm. He needed immediate surgery and we were given 2 options from Mr Beltechi either the coiling procedure or open head surgery. He advised the open head surgery was the best option considering how severe the aneurysm was. He worked over 10hrs on my father to try to secure the anerysm and after surgery came out to tell us he could not do what he wanted to do. You could see he was very disappointed and upset that he could not give us what we wanted to hear and went back to the drawing board to think of another way to try and save my fathers life. The next day he did the coiling procedure and managed to secure the aneurysm and this saved my fathers life. After a stint in a rehab hospital 6 weeks later my father suffered a fall and fractured behind his sinus he had to have emergency cranial treatment and again Mr Beltechi did open head surgery on my father and saved his life for a second time. My family and I can not thank this man enough for what he has done and we would highly recommend him.

I was terrified of this surgery, considering the huge risks , after 3 years of debilitating nerve pain I woke up with it gone and no ill effects ,I am a week into recovery , a bit sore from the op ( they operate through the neck ) but hoping I get my life back , from the ward staff through to recovery the hospital were brilliant.
